On this CIP, I was called up to marshall. I felt very unhappy at first, because it was on my birthday. However, I realised that I did not have much of a choice, hence I unwillingly went for the marshalling. Throughout the entire marshalling, I was quite unhappy and quite glum for I thought it was wasting my time. However, I found out the importance of my role as I had to guide many parents and ex-students to the dedicated area.
After this CIP, I learned to sacrifice and to give, even though it may not have benefited me. I did not really need the CIP hours, but I still went in the end. Serving is an important part of our lives, and I learned it through that one day in CIP.
